 Valley Oak Majesty

 A lone Valley Oak sits in a field near Redding, California. The Valley Oak may attain an age of up to 600 years and its towering stature may surpass 30 meters in height. The branches have an irregular, spreading and arching appearance that produce a profound leafless silhouette in the winter sky.

 Ominous Storm Brewing

 A winter storm descends upon Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, California. Bidwell Park is a municipal park in Chico that was established in 1905 through the donation of Annie Bidwell. It consists of approximately 3.760 acres and is one of the 25 largest city parks in the United States. To say that Chico loves its park would be an understatement.
